Pairing was born from a love of Pacific Northwest wines and traveling the globe.

Cheers to chance meetings! In 2008, Megan Ziskovsky found herself in the backseat of a friend's car heading for the Oregon coast. Sitting next to her was Belgian regenerative medicine PhD scientist Jef Pinxteren (www.cellar.pro). It did not take long for their conversation to reveal a common passion for wine. Months later on a trip to the Willamette Valley together, the idea to have businesses in the wine industry was discussed. "What fun it would be to enjoy a bottle of Oregon pinot noir over dinner in Europe! And, even better … share Pacific Northwest wines with the rest of the world!"

Megan Ziskovsky formalized her education in the world of wine and took classes through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET). WSET is a London-based program described as the foremost international body in the field of wines and spirits education. Megan took her WSET classes at the Wine and Spirit Archive in Portland, Oregon and has passed her advanced written and practical tasting exams. Megan's dream of starting a wine business became a reality with her founding of Pairing. Pairing is proud to be a premiere exporter of Pacific Northwest wines.

When Megan is not building relationships with local wineries, winemakers and connecting with clients abroad, Megan spends her time working as a chiropractor. She loves helping patients recover from injuries and enjoys promoting health and wellness. Megan received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in 2005. Dr. Megan Ziskovsky owns and practices in a multi-practioner clinic in Portland, Oregon (www.center4chiropractic.com) and is proud to call Portland, Oregon home.
